![]() ![]() In this coming-of-age novel by fan-favorite author Mariko Tamaki, see the classic tale in a whole new light. Is she MTB with Gilly? Or is Berry her true soul mate? Only time (or 304 pages) will tell. Falling quickly into that age-old trap of ignoring the best friend for the new crush, Anne soon becomes embroiled in a series of dramatic and unfortunate events, and quickly finds herself wrapped up in a love triangle she never expected. Both personality quirks quickly come into play when the soccer team boos the premiere of her disco performance, which-in a roundabout way-introduces her to her new BFF, Berry, and she soon after meets the girl of her dreams, Gilly. ![]() Recently relocated to middle-of-nowhere Greenville and starting at a new school, Anne has a tendency to A) fall in love quickly, deeply, and effervescently and B) fly off the handle in the face of jerks. ![]() In this modern reimagining of Anne of Green Gables, Anne is an ABBA-loving singer/actor/writer of disco-operas, queer, Japanese-American who longs to be understood for her artistic genius. It's also the story of how I found my true true, and how I needed to maybe come to Greenville, of all places, to make that happen. This is the story of how I became Anne of Greenville. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() She is fearless, she’s good at what she does. But he got serious, so does she, she is one hell of a badass heroine. I can’t blame her, she thought that what is going on between Ren and her is nothing serious, just casual and thinking that he has a thing for another woman is kind of sad. In the previous books, I see Ally as pushy, she always force the other heroines to spill and yet she have kept her secrets and her romantic relationship with Ren to them. ![]() He may not be the hero for that particular book but I just know that he will be surely a perfect hero in another, and in this book, he truly is. He’s definitely a macho badass Alpha. When Ren was first featured on Rock Chick Revenge, I just cant wait for him to have his perfect woman. Ally is not the typical type of heroine from the series who needs protection from her badass hero because she is and can be a badass too. ![]() Noticed a few hints in Rock Chick Revenge, where all things between her and Ren began, and this book surely did not disappoint. I’ve been looking forward on her story since the first book and as I read along the series, thought that she will never get her own, but here it is. Saving the most anticipated book for last, the story of one of the Rock Chick’s founder Ally. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a great origin story, one that fully lives up to the character immense personality. The Joker became ruined and lost himself in his nasty deeds. It wasn’t long before petty crime turned to murder and butchery. That first step into the darkness led to many other steps down the road of corruption. And like many people he was forced to turn to crime he was forced to break society's rules in order to survive. ![]() He had a girlfriend he had a job, but the world shitted on him somewhat chronic. But, I think we all know who is intended victim actually is. ![]() The first man he wants to reduce is the stalwart Commissioner Gordon. He wants to show humanity that they are not that far from him. And the Joker, being the sly and brilliant villain that he is, wants to share the experience with the world. Once you’ve crossed that threshold then things will never be the same again. One push, one snap, one descent into chaos and it’s over. It’s such a simple idea, but so real and powerful. That's how far the world is from where I am. “All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. ![]() ![]() of Speculation meets Black Mirror in this lyrical, speculative debut about a queer mother raising her daughter in an unjust surveillance state I Keep My Exoskeletons to Myself is their first novel.ĭept.
